Ben Golnik
Ben is a proven leader who achieves winning results for clients. Ben has built strong relationships with the business community, local leaders, and activists throughout Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

Ben regularly appears as a political analyst on At Issue, a weekly public affairs show on KSTP-TV and is often called on by the press corps to provide insight on political issues.  In March 2011, Ben was selected for the “40 Under Forty” list (business and community leaders in the Twin Cities under the age of 40) by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Most recently, Ben served as the general consultant to the Minnesota Senate Republican Victory Fund.  Ben helped engineer the campaign strategy that gave Republicans their first majority in 38 years and a net pick-up of sixteen seats, the most of any Senate caucus in the nation.

In the 2008 election cycle, Ben served in a senior position for the McCain Presidential campaign, overseeing all activities in six states, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Ben also was the lead political consultant to the Minnesota House Republicans and served as media liaison for Governor Tim Pawlenty during the presidential primary season.

In 2006, Ben was the executive director of the Republican Party of Minnesota and directed the Party’s independent expenditure campaign, which contributed to the re-election of Governor Pawlenty. Ben has also managed a targeted congressional race in Maine and served as the executive director of the Vermont Republican Party. Ben spent two years in Washington as a legislative staffer for Senator Mike Crapo (Idaho).

Ben has been called on to provide training to political parties in Angola and as an election observer in Afghanistan. In college, Ben studied abroad in Russia, and after graduating, he spent an additional six months in Russia on a fellowship. Ben graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont. He and his wife live in Saint Paul with their son and daughter.

Tom Steward
Tom is a respected communications specialist and media strategist with an award-winning record in broadcasting.  Tom is a familiar figure among his former colleagues in the media, as well as with business, community and opinion leaders throughout Minnesota.

Tom’s reputation for integrity opens doors and has generated an enviable track record of earned media results.  Tom knows whom to call and what it takes to deliver your message in electronic, print and new media.

As a communications director for a U.S. senator and a presidential campaign in six upper Midwest states, Tom has served as a spokesman, directed crisis communications, and managed media coverage of high profile hearings and events on the state and national level. Tom has placed op-eds in every key newspaper in Minnesota, in addition to the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and New York Times.

In his broadcasting career, Tom received numerous awards for television journalism at WCCO-TV and KSTP-TV, as well as a Peabody award at National Public Radio.  He has directed documentaries for some of the world’s most recognizable cable network, filming the first wild footage of the endangered Sumatran tiger and rhinoceros for Animal Planet, and developing the first live webcast of a hibernating bear for Discovery.com. 

Tom was a co-founder of Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria, Minnesota, served as a former trustee of the Minnesota Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, and regularly volunteers to produce videos for faith-based institutions. He’s married to Colleen Needles Steward, President of Tremendous! Entertainment, and has three children.
